Based on your country?s flag in your profile I assume you are from Germany and therefore Gamestop Germany will probably not get the edition as I doubt Riptide will be sold in Germany in general (cause of the brutality, gore, zombie slaughter issue).

But back to topic: I just talked to my boss and he told me it?s not quite sure if we will get it at all as Gamestop is in negotiation with the retailer so yes, I also assume now that we won?t get the edition. I thought we will get it cause we got an email where it was mentioned it is not clear how many pieces of it we will get but never mentioned if we?ll get it at all. So sorry for the inconvenience.

is this still coming out because of all the backlash and uproar and media noise condemning it? i know the developers were issueing apologies through PR and twitter and said they were going to re evaluate this edition.

Well, different shops received the rights to sell it AFTER the media backlash. Considering the statues were already produced, and a lot of fans gave support (and have preordered already), they will bring it out anyway.

They never explicitly said they were gonna pull it, they just said they will make sure they never let an edition like this happen again xx

Amazon price up from 70 to 90 pounds (i got a 360 version on order), sucks though. I really need to see an unboxing to be sure no 360 branding is on the box.

There's still time until April and many unboxing vids show up before the official release date. So you should have some time to cancel your order if you don't want it anymore.
