It always happens, you don't want it till it's out of stock. Nobody gave a dime about this when the ninostarter was open but once it's out of stock, the mental masturbation and the fake sense of necessity start and ebay turns into a funny place.

Lol the mass effect CE was awesome, I bought the US edition a couple of months before the release date, but then an european member from another forum got one, posted a pic, and it came with a steelbook inside (the US ver had a metalpak). I remember everyone going crazy (me included), selling out everywhere, shopto saying "Guys this is very limited, tomorrow 10am UK time we are going to put some extra stock up for sale!!!". The new stock came out of nowhere.
