My gut (and other various things) tell me this one will be a lot more limited then you would assume judging by the way it was announced and released

It was pretty obvious that it would be very limited.

- only one store
- touted they put a 200 dollar statue in it, if its closely true they dont want to get stuck with them or have to discount them later on
- usa exclusive (lots of people importing).
- CE for the most hyped new franchise in a long time.
- said it would be limited (ok, might be the first time its true (besides CE's that are actually numbered, and the number announced beforehand (lol @cod mw2 numbered 250.000)

But I think the "limited" nature of Halo 4's CE is even funnier

Numbered all the way up into the 600,000's?

Really limited there. There are standard releases of games that don't make that number

Where is there info on it being a $200 statue?
TheTriforce statues from the Max Payne CE and the Gears 3 Epic edition were both cheap plastic pieces. Couldn't have cost them more than a few dollars to make.

I hope it's true that this time they're actually making a high quality statue though. Hopefully it's not PVC plastic.

The Big Daddy figure from the Bioshock CE is a good example of a nice quality piece.

While I quite like how accessible he appears to be I don't necessarily believe it's a $200 statue myself

Also for anyone who cares, I contacted Triforce and asked if TLOU statue would be available separately for purchase but they confirmed that it's only available in the pandemic edition

Although I think Naughtydog let slip that they might be giving some away in competitions outside the US to try and make fans happy (or less angry perhaps)

I think it is lame to put a price tag on that. It might a marketing strategy but its just lame... why not just put a price tag on all items of the CE.
