Dead Space 3 Dev Edition has a similar format tracking code (CJ********US) but it doesn't show anything yet at USPS site.

I suppose it will be recognised sooner or later in their systems.

Both went to "shipped" status on Friday. Your book was marked shipped at 8:21am, and the Dev-Team Edition was marked shipped at 4:12pm. Maybe USPS updates their tracking in batches, and the later batch the CE went out in isn't updated yet. Or maybe the CE was ready to go, but not actually picked up (hopefully not).

Either way, the tracking number is often not useful for 24 hours, so keep checking it and you'll know as much as we do.
