Not the gun, but the stand. Got the gun at launch last year. Picked the stand up from play.com. Only cost me 20GBP. Had some superpoints to use up and thought I'd use them before play close their retail section.

Here's a pic of the box. NECA said that these were an open edition, but as you can see on the side of the box, it clearly states "Carton No. 3854 of 5000", leading me to beleive that they only made 5000 of these stands... o.0

Does that little screen do anything else? Or does it just light up with the aperture logo?

Yeah, it is a nice stand. It's massive though! lol

The part with the aperture logo, doesn't do anything! XD It's just a sticker. lol I thought that it should light up though! Would be cool if it did! Have it glow blue or orange like the gun!

They are signed by let me check......
Black permanent marker ink
My tri SIG is obv permanent marker as you'll see
I can tell as light reflects purple off it" I'll take a better pic to prove it in about 2 hours
And seeing as this is very tricky machine print this
I'd say they are hand signed

Edit3 I think the top tri Nguyen SIG speaks for itself
It has the sunlight reflecting purple, you can see where the marker was dry and less pressure was applied
Also the ink has started bleeding out into the white paper discolouring it
What more can you want to prove a hand signed print and originality
(Its individuality and originality that adds value)

Thought they looked hand-signed but 500 is a big edition size to be hand signed in my mind
