im going to end up using a scanner as apposed to a camera

as for the new technology speak..

as i have mentioned before im doing a virtual museum in my spare time.. turns out i can run unreal tournament via a browser.. I know the basics of modding the unreal games using the SDK so in theory i can make a virtual museum using the unreal engin that you could run off a website.. give or take a few issues like texture size

does unreal havve on the fly loading like assassins creed
ie once it loads you in it detects which way you are headed and loads it before you get there
and de loads things as you get to far away?
or will it work like a on live game where everything is servers side pre loaded?

not sure i would have to look into it

all games use a draw distance which is a custom setting in each game

ac loads things in segments, like how most games work

take Jerusalem in ac 1, that was split in to 3 districts, the game would load an entire district and nothing else, similar to how online games work but they have to compensate for all the other players and enemies all spawning and dieing

I run a little website called collectorsedition.org maybe you guys have seen it?

it started off as a database of my DVD collection so I could keep track of which movies I hadn't watched yet: http://www.web-nine.com/collections/dvds/
