I've had it confirmed the original number is indeed final. Dead Space 3 took longer I think? And it's multiplatform. And more expensive.

So whats the production number on these? More than Dead Space 3 Dev Team?

Dead Space 3 did not sell out in a week. I ordered 2 with 3 weeks between the dates of order placed. They were up for almost a month, and I remember being worried about how slowly they were selling out. Similarly, I'll just wait on this and see what happens.

We are talking the Dev Team Edition, right?

It was officially sold out within 8 days or sth, while some weeks later 25 more were available due to cancellations etc. At the Dead Space 3 thread the "officialy sold out" post it's still there dated 19/01.

Yeah but if you look at it the last of us still sold out quicker then the dead space collectors because the dead space collectors were 5000pcs between pc, Xbox360, and ps3 total combined not individually and the last of us is just one platform.

First post on this site.

Just want to say I was that close to getting this yesterday. Had it in my basket and just had to confirm the order but to be honest I wasn't really feeling it. Of course when I checked in again several hours later it was gone. Complacency maybe ?

I guess it's a question of getting an edition because I want it not for the sake of it. Of course being in the situation I was in I kind of regret not tapping confirm especially with how it's all played out but if I'm being honest with myself I probably did the right thing. Had I really wanted it then I'd have had my order locked in.

In this instance I think I'm happy with the survival edition. I say think because until I see youtube unboxing's of the post pandemic edition I wont know for sure.
