Default Re: Zelda 25th year what are you hoping for?

Nintendo would be idiots to not released something special for Skyward Sword on the Wii. The Zelda franchise has a licence to print money, and they could wrap this game up in horse manure and people would still buy it at a premium!

We didn't see a Zelda game at all last year, with the last being Spirit Tracks at the end of 2009, and now we have TWO Zelda games to look forward to later in the year!I would like to think that as these coincide with the 25th Anniversary, they would go all out and make CE's for both of these releases, even going as far as releasing a gold coloured 3DS in limited numbers for fans and collectors of the franchise. Only time will tell whether this is going to be a reality...

I do suspect that Nintendo might re-issue something similar to the Zelda Collector's Edition formerly released on the GameCube, but perhaps with Link To The Past included, in a similar way to how they re-issued Mario All-Stars last year. They may even be tempted to re-release Wind Waker and Twilight Princess as a double pack, but I think that's a little less likely

I also doubt very much that we should hold out for a gold coloured Wii console so late in the console's life, and especially with the announcement of a new successor imminent at E3 this year and rumoured to be released in 2012. It would be nice to have, but highly unlikely!
