Default Tomb Raider collectors edition review, unboxing and pics

Intro
Having lost faith in tomb raider, this is a buy after missing many sequels, tomb raider one led me into a lot of trouble in life, after downing a t-Rex i was led to believe i was superhuman and the next day tried to take on a badger in the park, the badger attacked me without mercy and i had to have 2 operations and many years of therapy so this is a big step for me to buy a tomb raider game again.

packaging and dlc

Big enough to store the ashes of multiple loved ones or a big lunch, this tin is moohassive, whatever you use it as people will now you are a survivor and give you instant respect
with art relevant to the game it comes with a cardboard insert in the lid and a slip to put over the tin.

Lazily thrown inside is the survival edition containing art book, map/poster and soundtrack i have put the soundtrack card in my stereo but it does not work

inside survival edition is the game, inside the game are leaflets, 3 page Manuel, hitman absolution in game weapon dlc, 14 day xbox live trial and advertising
it simply does not get any more exciting than that

physical goodies

included is a survival pouch with tomb raider art which is tiny and can in the event of
a tsunami
wild fire
being mugged
set upon by a badger

can be used for none of the above and will more likely hinder than help, but it can hold a pair of socks so you will at least die with warm feet

also included in the tin is a play arts figure that has 150 moveable parts, even more if you smash it with a hammer and only two poses, one 15 minutes struggling to get it to stand and two flat on its back
you get 3 extra hands so Lara can impersonate a Hindu god, a handgun, shotgun bow and arrow and pickaxe.

this little bundle set me back 6000 English pennies and i give it 8/10 as an edition

I would just like to know how long it took you to acquire this many coins and where they were stored in the mean time until they were no doubt put in a sock and sent to hammyzone as payment...?

Mine seems to stand just fine now, you have you click her knees once (so that you can see a small gap in the front) and then adjust her toes with her legs about 3 fingers apart. Even shaking my desk can't knock her over now.

They should still learn to include stands with all their figures though.

I got the PS3 release from Best Buy, it's very similar. I didn't get the artbook, I got the comic instead. So I'm going to be on the look out for it. I can't get the statue to stand either, she should have come with a foot stand like Drake, or at least attached to something flat and solid like Cole.

Does anyone else think the statue looks a bit like Zombie Lara?
