Just came back from the New York event. It was honestly sad how little people came to this event, probably because of the weather. 40 people max. Same situation as the post above from winds, alt. artwork for game case, pins, poster were given away. Cosplayers got the key to the Songbird cage keychain that comes in the Hardcover strategy guide. Now the crazy part. They gave away a limited copy of the MIND IN REVOLT BOOK signed by Ken Levine to someone who clearly wasn't a fan so expect that on eBay. Now for the posters. The person from Irrational games in charge of the event clearly defined one poster per person and the rest will be destroyed. However, some small talk with, I think, the art director and he slipped me some extras. Sorry for my rant but I'm very excited about how today turned out. Those in contact with me via PM already are covered for.

Toronto had quite a bit of people. An original count at the beginning from one of the workers was 56 people. However that probably grew to about 120 people by nights end.

The San Fransisco Midnight Opening was busy.....
Cool Gamestop though. Has lifesize statues for Bioshock Infinite, Fallout 3, and Skyrim Anyways got me some swag ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes I have 2 signed posters but the spare is reserved for a potential trade They also gave out special PS3 or Xbox cover inserts that they signed, a sticker and a button I also got the Devs to sign the standard game insert ![]() I wanted to try and get more posters and probably could've if I was able to wait longer but the garage I parked in would probably have closed by the time I got back to my car and that would be bad. I would estimate around 150 people at the SF opening Hard to gauge though as I suck at estimating

OK, sooo the interesting part of this story is that I wasn't exactly the first person in line but rather the sixth. You see, I initially arrived at the GameStop at 9am with a buddy who had to leave cuz of a work call and he ends up stranding me there when the store opened. That's when I saw this girl holding a clipboard going into the shop, who I thought at the time was a GS employee. About 10 minutes later I was told by security (Citywalk has a shitload of 'em) I couldn't loiter near the store even after telling him about the midnight event. I end up leaving to pick something up to eat only to return to see five people in line right next to the security guard that kicked me out. I didn't say anything and got back in line. Fast forward to 10pm and that same girl that saw me waiting by myself goes straight to me in the line to give me this strange envelope. Turns out to be the numbered Mind in Revolt Book. happy day.
