Ah ok if you payed through paypal, but with a credit card then you should be covered under the credit card policy

I would look up your CC policy on charge backs as it should give you the time limit on that

Most US cards are 60 days to my limited knowledge

Is everyone sure about when bishop take payment for this?
As I don't think bishop have taken the 7.99 for the pre order bonuses
I think they have taken the full amount but haven't been able to get to my bank yet to confirm

Just checked my bank statement and they've definitely only taken the ?7.99 for the pre-order bonus.

hey peeps, been MIA on this thread being lazy to read the posts... anyways what did I missed besides the 5 preorder maps, black beard statue (which I nearly missed out on)???

All pre order talk is going on over in the ACIV Pre order thread
And all Statue / Figure talk in the AC Statue / Figure Thread
And no new editions have been announced besides the standard/signature/skull/bucanear/black chest

OK so I have just spoken to my bank / fraud department as normal banking customer service was closed
Digital river / ubishop / uplay take payment like this
They request funds for the full amount at the time of shipping the pre order
And they also take the 7.99 GBP(or equivalent) and they bank (as in keep) the 7.99
But they do not accept the full 119.99GBP (or equivalent) so it is in your account as it is in your account balance, but not your available balance.
So you are in able to spend this money.
And usually funds are claimed / accepted / banked after 2 days and if they agree not claimed / accepted / banked by digital river (the company claiming the funds / requesting authorization / asking for the money) within 8 days then the funds (money) will become available to you (in your available balance) again

I didn't ask why they done this
I'm sure its possible to speed up the process by contacting digital river and asking them to speed up there authorization process
