To keep a long story short it boils down to a con man wanted in the UK now in Hong Kong running Syco. Has also been ripping off the artists making the sculptures.

Not sure if it's all true but that's the story I've heard.

It's too bad syco was not above board as some of their work looks to be quite good although I believe it wasn't always consistent?
