I simply said most of the time the items are worth more separately.

For example Ascension, sold for $80 for the collectors edition. Here is facts of what I sold items for (some of the way after launch).

Game was $60 of the cost (I did not sell this until way after and got $30 for it with no case)

Steelbook: $20

PSASBR DLC: $8

Season Pass: $20

Kratos Statue: $20 (and I sold this after I sold the game)

So lets review... the game was $60 of the original cost, so the other items sold separately sold for a total of $68.

$60 + $68= $120 compared to the $80 original cost. Even if you take out what I lost on the cost of the game when i sold it I was still ahead after all of it.
so 98 dollars total and you got to play the game and made 18 dollars? is that minus ebay fees

no worries mate, i do me working out based on how the teired edition fit into the main edition gta v

game 40
steel 20
map 10
equates to what the special edition costs in the uk

i dont encourage it but realistically speaking the most lucrative item in a collectors edition is dlc that is only available in a collectors edition as there are so many that do not want to buy the ce but want the dlc

it cost nothing to ship as it has no real tangible form, and usually gets a good bit if it add a lot to the game or is a popular game

Hmmm... might not include all of the fees. Not sure.

I would say I was at least $15 ahead when it was over with. I did not go in intending to make money on it.

But when I find I don't want something anymore i just list it. Or if I don;t want DLC I just list it.

Funny thing is most of those items I listed a couple dollars less then everyone else to sell them fast and fairer.

You are right about the DLC... people are nuts for DLC.

I sold the DLC you get from the Ascension mini game from the website for $18 and that was almost half what others were trying to get for it. It sold instantly at that price, people are insane.
