It is not that limited as most limited edition console made for retail purchase usually have a decent amount of them made.

Only have the white FFXIII Lightning edition and the gray metal gear solid 4 LE.
Didn't really like the black FFXIII-2 edition though

How so?

It states on their website that they are made for Sony to be given away in competition

Not entirely sure how you can get more official than that

GT5 PS3 has licensing from both Sony and Toyota for instance

All consoles were made by Javier Riquelme (@jriquelme https://www.facebook.com/jriquelmemods) in Paraguay I think

But here's the important part, they appear to be offical as Adam Boyes tweets about these consoles (@amboyes https://twitter.com/amboyes) who appears to work for PlayStation in Publisher & Developer Relations

I'm rather particular to the wooden crate AC PS3.........and the GTA V PS3.....and the Borderlands PS3 lol

Who knows maybe I'll contact that guy to make me one lol

Only thing is only one of each of those designs was officially made

I don't know if jriquelme will fabricate another one with the same exact design and even then it's not really offical

I still might get one though lol

He did some other cool PS3 designs but they were unoffical

There was a really cool BF3 PS3 and an okay MK one
