It's not scary lol though I admit I jumped out a bit a few times lol but that was because of the freaking loud volume so I could get really into the mood. Having good speakers is a must in this game as it sets the atmosphere and plays a very important role in the mechanics of the game.

Edit: if you are playing in the daylight, play it at least in a dark room or smth, because the game is so dark in many of the levels and you re gonna see anything on screen (or turn brightness on max and blind yourself lol). just a suggestion. Hope you'll have as much fun as I did with this game. Loved it so much!
