Mmm, well can't be helped really. At least if you bought one from us direct you know you get value if this is the resale price...

But I believe one per person..no need for multiples..especially at the start ..maybe after a month..then buy as many as you want

I'll fess up and admit I bought 2 and sold one. I'll also admit it was a mistake, and not just because the resale price was pretty low. I came to this forum because this is where people talk about stuff I like. At that time (around the time I made my C&B order) I was enamored with quick profits from flipping stuff on ebay. That sheen has quite worn off for me already, it's not what I want to do with my time.
There are plenty of people here on the forum that sell, and many of those artificially inflate their own prices too rather than auction and let the market determine it's own value. I'm stuck with a few more items I preordered that I'll still need to move, but I'm getting out of this nasty business.
Maarten, I'm sorry to have disappointed you, I will remain a customer because I love the work you guys put out.

As it is, it's going to be a while before I can have them framed. I hate counting nickels but I'll be very interested in what others are paying for their framing when the time comes.
Yep.

I stand by that. I have no interest in what gloss does to the resale value because it's not going anywhere. Go be smug somewhere else please.

You're actually not the first one to buy two . I saw the edition no. in the Ebay sale so I knew which buyer this was.

No worries btw. You're free to do with your items and purchases what you like. And if buying and selling is your thing that is fine by us as well. It's the nature of the art market right? It's just that there is a big waiting list for Falling and we had to dissapoint a lot of people which made me type type a sad smiley (plus the fact that I liked the idea of everybody just holding on to our products .

For now there is no way for us to limit the no. of items during online purchase so any policy in this regard will be for the future anyway.

You're a flipper, no need to feel bad or apologize for it.

I understand the frustrations. As a retailer, I'm sure a strong aftermarket will do nothing but help sales, but having to turn fans down really has to suck. As a fan, paying reseller prices for stuff I missed is a real burn too.
Of course everyone wants to make money, and the buy 2 sell 1 instinct is very strong, especially for higher end products. Most of us need help affording these things, and reselling can really help that, which is why that temptation is so strong.
I think i put my scruples aside to do this though, and I don't like the way that made me feel.
