Wait, all of these 20th Anniversary Playstations are being raffled off? The U.S. too? Thought the Sony store was selling them on December 6th.

The only thing confirmed right now is that they will be available to purchase directly from the PS Experience with more information to be announced on the 6th. If all online sales are conducted via raffle, I expect riots.

sounds like we have to win the right to buy one from the looks of it so far..i think the ONLY people who can truely purchase it, are the ones attending the expo in Las Vegas, i think the rest of us have to get lucky to win a chance at it...let's say there allocating 5000 of these for the US,....let's say the expo has 5000 attendees..let's say 2500 buy one on the spot..the other 2500 probably will be like a contest or lottery.,..

According to Adam Boyes of Sony, the anniversary console will be available at discounted rates at The PlayStation Experience beginning December 4 in Las Vegas.
