(SCEI) today announced the “PlayStation®4(PS4™) 20th Anniversary Edition”, a special edition PS4 commemorating the 20th anniversary of the release of the original PlayStation (PS) on December 3rd, 1994. The 20th Anniversary Edition will be limited to 12,300 units worldwide, a number that reflects the launch date of the original PS, and will be available for a price of SGD689 in Singapore, IDR7,399,000 in Indonesia, RM1,779 in Malaysia, PHP26,999 in The Philippines, and THB20,990 in Thailand. The limited edition PS4 and included accessories come in “Original Gray” color, all packaged in a special commemorative box.

Good news for other Asian region but it aint easy to get one on hand. Heard that you need to win the contest to get one but what the price there for if you are not going to be able to buy it

I don't think the value will go for a lot down the road..because typically playstation consoles as of late go through 3 different redesigns...look at the metal gear solid 4 original gun metal special edition, the prices on that one have softened a lot.
