GTAV Midnight Launch at NYC Gamestop

I'm gonna momentarily tear myself away from GTAV to tell the tale of the OC midnight thingy...

The midnight release I went to (that happen to be across the street from my house) was one of the few to have R* and strangely enough, Microsoft doing their own thing. Thanks to an array of eating contests I'm now shamed on youtube thanks to peer pressure to do the hot wings contest...sad times for stayfree.

In terms of swag, I was able to get Chop stickers, Chop rub on tattoos, the new GTAV poster, GS bracelet, and also won the MS raffle to get an Xbox One lightsaber (seriously can't make this stuff up).

srry for the late reply...like I said earlier...GTA

Honestly I don't know. They had a random booth setup outside of the GameStop completely separate from what R* was doing. I'm guessing they were trying to take advantage of the GTA hype by doing various contests, while at the same time promoting Xbox One.

...and about the lightsaber...well, does anything MS do now-a-days makes sense?
