Would it be worth doing a vote for the collector edition of the year or would this be a crap idea?
What about the worst? Game guides? Hmmm...

I freaking love the GTA V collectors edition.

+ Outer package has nice artwork.
+ Inner box looks gorgeous.
+ R*'s first steelbook looks awesome.
+ Unique items: safety deposit bag.
- Slightly overpriced.

I have to agree with this. I was a little underwhelmed by the items when they first revealed it, but the contents feel good quality and were really well presented! ^^. Though I wouldn't say it was worth the RRP, but I can't complain for 90 quid.

Just trying to think of other CEs which I like this year. Lol

With so much stuff that comes with it and the sheer size of the statue, my vote goes towards Assassins Creed 4 Black Chest Edition

Ps: After a certain date ends (lets say november) lets have the top 3 CE's for a revote then award the winner on december. Something like...

Cosmic, twisted liked the idea of awarding a small trophy to the winner, so this is quite a big deal

GTA V CE really was missing an artbook imho.

Best CE was Starcraft heart of the swarm.

Or last of us collectors edition (asia one with fullsize artbook).

I love Grand Theft Auto V, but I felt that the pricing was a bit steep for what was in it. I don't care for steel books and the New Era hat wouldn't be that costly.

I prefer the Asian limitation for Last of Us were everything isn't separated like it is for the NA release.

My favorite collector/limited edition of this year is still Ni No Kuni: Wizard Edition NA
The companion book is just all sorts of gorgeous.
