got my amazon.de metalpack today and I'm quite impressed. The embossed batman and the logo are really nice

It's weird that they go from having like 5 steels for Arkham City to having two (?) metalpacks for this one.

yep so its 4 metalpaks and no steelbooks.
g1 and g2 CE
g1 and g2 batman design
i kinda like the look of it though.... the pop up kind of effect plus the 'snowflakes' sort of splashed over it.

i wonder if such effects would be hard to achieve on a steelbook?

plus they are less expensive too lol

I get what people say about them not being steelbooks but have to say I'm quite impressed by these. Perhaps if metalpaks were as good as these hve turned out then maybe they wouldn't have such a bad name.

I do have to add that my two are absolutely immaculate so that certainly helps with my gushing.Having said that I'm definitely not a convert.

I am too! Although, I can't help but wonder if the same exact design wouldn't have been much better on a steelbook. lol

maybe it was due to the manufacturing processs.... the pop up effect might have been better on the metalpak
most steelbooks so far have minimal texturing, if any...
