Default Re: Space Channel 5 ... Trying to build a complete collection

I just glanced at your list above, and didn't see these, but if they are there then please correct me.

Space Channel 5 - Lenticular holographic cover (NTSC U) - Dreamcast
This is an alternative cover variation, where a standard "flat" cover also exists

Space Channel 5 & Space Channel 5 Part II collection (NTSC U) - PS2
In North America there is a reasonably obscure double-pack for the PS2 which includes both games

Space Channel 5 Part II did indeed get released in the UK, although in very limited numbers. The French / European variation is much more commonly spotted though, so don't confuse the two

Also, if you're going all-out, then you might also want to consider the SEGA Superstars series of games which feature Ulala as a playable character:

SEGA Superstars - A PS2 Eye-Toy game

SEGA Superstars Tennis - PS2, PS3, X360, Wii, DS

Sonic & SEGA ALl-Stars Racing - PS3, X360, Wii, DS, PC

Ulala has also cameoed in other Sonic Team games as well:

  • Sega Superstars (PS2)- Minigame based on Space Channel 5
  • Sega Superstars Tennis (PS2, PS3, Wii, DS, Xbox 360)- Ulala and Pudding as playable characters
  • Feel the Magic: XY/XX (DS)- Minigame based on Space Channel 5
  • Sega Splash Golf (PC)- Ulala as a caddy
  • Beach Spikers (Gamecube)- Ulala as a playable character
  • Samba de Amigo (Wii) - Ulala makes guest appearance, Mexican Flyer featured as song[3]
  • Rez (Dreamcast, PS2, XBLA)- Unlockable Morolian evolution
  • Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA (PSP)- Unlockable Ulala outfit, Mexican Flyer featured as song
  • Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary (DS, PSP, PS2, Wii)- Morolians feature as an alternate set of blocks, along with Space Channel 5 themed garbage indicators
  • Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing (DS, Wii, PC, PS3, 360)- Ulala as a playable character. She rides a space pod and her All-Star move is dancing on her pod while zapping her foes with her space laser.
  • Virtua Fighter 5 (Arcade) - The 'R Revision B' update version of the game features several customize items from SEGA characters, among them is Ulala's full wardrobe, even including her guns.
Ulala has also made a cameo in the 2001 film Josie and the Pussycats, where she is popular in the merchandising in a store that Wyatt visits to try out a demo CD.

I'm assuming you mean for PS2? Damn so they actually released a PAL region Japanese language version?

Already up there... AFAIK every copy of the Dreamcast version had the Lenticular cover, I've never seen one without this cover except in the rare instance where someone lost the holographic card insert.

again, already up there... this is the "Special Edition" for PS2... and AFAIK it's the only version of the game released for PS2

I'll have to keep a look out. Is there actually a french language version? or is it just the box/manual thats in french?

I didn't know they used her in so many games... I don't know how all-out I'll be going. I think I'm probably going to get all of the audio discs and then the just the Major variations of the game. Some of the stuff seems redundant. (ie: I wont bother with the PAL Dreamcast Collection since it's identical to the US release save for the region markings)
