Well, it is no mystery how those other two people I know got their hands on an orange Xbox Live controller. One is a Microsoft employee and the other bought his or hers from a Microsoft employee. lol The best picture I have of one that was sent to me from another collector has the person's Ebay name in the photo so I doubt they would want me to post it. lol
Very cool to find a Dakota for $2.99! I know a guy that does some work in Seattle that found one for $5.99 earlier this year. Haha. I would plug it in and make sure it works on a console just to be sure it is the right breakaway cable. =) That clear controller I have heard is a prototype for the crystal clear controller that came in different bundles in various countries. Not the US unfortunately. I have never seen one outside of that display case and do not know of anyone that has one. I have contacted many Microsoft employees about different items. Mainly to try and find a clear orange Xbox Live controller and only 3 so far even knew what I was talking about. Haha. So are you yourself a collector of the Xbox or just a lover of thrift store buying? =) |

General video game collector, mostly Nintendo. Special emphasis on hardware, promo items, memorabilia, etc.
I may sell the orange controller at some point in the future. A couple people have been pretty interested. Will stay in contact! |

Ah, cool! You should post some pictures of your collection! =) I don't personally collect Nintendo stuff but I love the N64 console boxes. I have a mint Jungle Green console box from when I was a kid. I even have all the little baggies that held everything inside. That being said though I have no idea where the console itself is. lol I was more worried about the box. Boxes are awesome. Haha.
Well add me to that list of interested people if you ever decide to sell it! ![]() |

I forgot about those! Yes, those are cool! Mine were actually used in the testing of Xbox Live but most came in the Xbox Live 1 Beta Kits. I know someone who owns a few of the cards but I don't know if he would sell any of them though. |

So I haven't update here in so long I actually looked to see what threads I had created to find this. lol
Xbox Live Beta Kit 2 - I have everything except the T-Shirt. ![]() ![]() Sealed Controllers - Duke is a bit damaged and fishing controller has obvious fading. The reason there are two black s-type controllers is because one is from 2002 (on bottom) and one is from 2003 (on top). The one from 2002 still used the same packaging as the Duke controller but this was changed the next year to the smaller packaging. ![]() ![]() ![]() Prototype "B2" Xbox Duke controller (it is pretty much a retail Duke without FCC approval and it has no ferrite core) ![]() ![]() Interesting item here the "GAME COMMANDER". The unreleased headset accessory for the Duke controller! The simple reason it was never released is because the Duke was discontinued and since the headset was made around the Duke it was thus canceled. The magazine picture is from December 2001. ![]() ![]() ![]() On and Off ![]() ![]() And the rest is for all you modern collectors on here. ![]() ![]() Dark Knight Joker Xbox 360 Console ![]() ![]() Splinter Cell Blacklist Xbox 360 Console - This was from a Facebook contest not the Xbox Live contest and yes it is a Colorware custom. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Xbox One "I Made This" Launch Team Console - No white controller but I got the console for a good price so I can't complain. ![]() ![]() ![]() Well that is all for now. Will probably update again in another 6 months. ![]() Last edited by MoonTar; 04-21-2014 at 09:56 PM. Reason: New Pictures |
