Yea it was to check the condition before bringing it back. The store guys usually do it for all statues from I heard. Yes it's SimplyToys

I've never bought anything from them. How are their prices and reliability for preorders?

They aren't too bad but there is no one else to compare them to, in terms of statue preorders. They are cheaper than importing one yourself if that's what u mean, especially from sideshow and more recently PCS..

Service-wise, can't say much, only ordered 2 from them so far
