As an 'International' buyer, I have come to terms that I won't be able to get all my packages in perfect condition. There's been far too many cases and a fair number of online sites have very bad customer service that it's just not worth the trouble to get a replacement. (Which also might come in damaged).

Don't let me discourage you though. Go all out for a replacement. Sideshow pieces should come in perfectly mint, including the box which is part of the entire package. Try again and keep pestering. They have, in my experience, upped their compensation even though they claim that's the best they could offer.

I do feel that a lot of companies should put in more effort into their packaging though, especially for the prices that we are paying.
