I played both Drakengard 1 and 2. The games weren't that special. I dare even say that 2 kinda sucked donkey balls. Now, 3 on the other hand should be good, Famitus rated it 9/9/8/8 (aggregate 34/40). From what I have seen thus far, it does look improved, and should be more fun to play. Nier on the other hands was a marvelous game with an amazing OST.

In short, it should be a good fun game. That the CE is overhyped, I can't explain why.

Good to hear, at least about Drakengard 3 that is. Also I saw Famatsu's score moments before your post, lol.

So that makes me feel better about my potential purchase at least.
