Hello there

To be honest I never opened the stand bag, but I had a look at it yesterday (I did not open it as to keep it in the condition described) and it looks like it's made of some vinyl-like material, very solid and has a decorated pattern to it I didn't even notice before.

Originally I thought it was a 2 piece set, but it is actually a single piece that you unfold and it holds the plate in a vertical position while supporting the back of the plate entirely.

I tried to find a picture of this item being displayed, as it would be easier to understand how it works, but no luck, I end up seeing my own images

Nevertheless, I can safely say that it is a very solid stand, if you are worried it is a cheapo one that won't give you peace of mind while displaying this item, rest assured it is not the case.
