Default Re: Killer Instinct

I've beaten Eyedol with Orchid and struggling to do the Glacius trick.

It works for one energy bar by fluke, I was able to smash QP rapidly and took down his first energy bar but can't do it again when he gets up because he batters me.

What is the correct timing and distance? How do I get into that position to exploit him every time because I kept dying and just switched off the game to go sleep.

it took me a while to get it to work for myself too.

on the first round don't touch the directional pad wait until he walks half way towards you... he should be just barely out of hit range (so the first few button pushes don't hit him) then pound QP like nobody's business.

Once he's knocked down I did the shoulder slide to get him into a combo... make sure you do an ender because if you drop the combo he'll punish you for it... the ender should knock him back a bit... once again don't touch any controls, wait for him to walk towards you and start pounding QP just before he gets into range.

------

if you watch the video he's not just blindly pounding QP... there's a timing element to it, Eyedol needs to be within a sweet spot for range in order for it to work.

I was also on ROM version 1.4... I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I figured 1.4 is the glitchy one so I'd have a better chance of it working there.
