A retailer called game, is based in the UK Game asks UBisoft UK if it can have an exclusive, UBisoft UK says yes, IF you can make 50000 sales of that item So UBisoft grant games wish, and no other retailer in any other country even knows this item exists as only game UK and UBisoft UK know it exists Sooo If you asked someone in UBisoft NCSA if they knew about that item...they would not And for European exclusives like this arlo figure.... EMEA granted a licence to the maker of the figure to make the figure, But EMEA only has distribution rights for EMEA territories This is because NCSA has the distribution rights to NCSA and they granted the licenses to McFarlane and hot toys for figures, Sooo the EMEA division would have to discuss distribution rights and terms with either NCSA division or one of the licenses holders that NCSA granted the rights too So it gets very mess and time consuming and then it becomes complicated with customs and import charges and tax's from ROW to NA sooo usually UBisoft doesn't bother with all that and just let's retailers or importers/exporters or wholesalers to deal with all if that
