Of all the Triple A game studio today, CD projekt red is by far the on that think the most about what player really wants at all levels, be it advertisement, excelente pricing for their incredibly high quality collector's edition, and more importantly, DRM FREE GAME FOR FUCK SAKE. ( take that EA, UBI soft and so on )

I really hate to buy a game with a damn Steam CD key inside that is unable for resell afterward witout selling your steamaccount.

So GoG legit? I always assumed they were selling hacked games for some reason. The whole no disc or internet check thing always seemed funny to me but I suppose I never knew much about it... that is what I get for assuming

I completely agree. They also seem to employ the most passionate people in the industry. People that strive to make a great gaming experience without constraining themselves with limitations like deadlines and quarterly profit reports.

flatout, do you happen to remember a certain ebay seller that was somewhat of a douche to everyone? The same seller that mysteriously had a shite load of E3 watch dog tins last year...

The reason I ask is because I now just realize he was one of the guys at the Witcher demo presentation...btw, he's an ass in real life too. lol

Exactly, and they are super friendly with their FAN. I went at Gamescom last year and was in queue for a T-shirt of the game at the end I started the conversation with one of the level designer " Miles Toste ". Well as soon as I said I worked in the game industry too as an environment artist ( which is slightly related to what he does ), we got a discussion of over half an hour about everything that we though made a game " FREAKING AWSOME ", while people were around him wanting to have a word with him too, it was too late for them, we were having a passionate conversation about our work and there was no way to interupt us

I'm pretty sure you have an idea of how much love and passion the guy had for his work and the need to make above excelent work, everything reflected back at me while we were speaking.
In the end he even gave me his contact card.

The more I see of The Division the more I get excited, and this excitement definitely extended to their E3 booth this year.

There, Ubisoft had a shadowy figure dressed up in a grey jumpsuit with gas mask secretly giving away Division paracord bracelets to anyone that pledged allegiance to a certain group in the game (I forgot). AC did a similar giveaway with a French soldier carrying two flags.

I also ran into Director Ryan Barnard and to my surprise he remembered me from last year. We ended up talking a bit and during that conversation he slipped something into my messenger bag (not what you think ). It was a badge from the game, I have yet to see anyone else with this and apparently the rumor is that it was a gift to the developers that worked on the game..? (anyone with more info on this please pm me)

I knew in advance that most of the devs from Ubisoft Massive Studio would be present, so of course I had to get the poster from last year's press kit signed.

Yeah he is an ass. His feedback on eBay has gotten like 8 negative since then... people say he swears at them a threatens them and everything.

I am not surprised I sized him up pretty accurately from just talking to him one time. Just that single impression I could tell he was a complete douche.


Thanks for the update though! Do you know why he gets to go to E3 (who he is affiliated with?)?

He must be decent friends (or suck up) to some of the right people to get a truck load of those tins and signed shit every year. He post pics showing himself with the people but always blurs his own face out (like the person next to him would not remember taking that pic with him and then thinking twice about giving him shit in the future.... but it may be more to hide form his employer then anything).
