Hey all,

My name is J, and I'm the Community Manager for Ready At Dawn Studios. I know it still says I'm the Community Manager for Irrational Games, but I've moved to a new studio.

Regardless, I'll be around these forums to answer any questions you may have regarding the special editions of The Order: 1886, or any merchandise / collectibles along the way. I'm also working on a small spreadsheet to explain the version / country differences once it's all finalized.

so I think you just confirmed that they'll be more "merchandise/collectibles" in the future. Do tell.

Ha! Nothing confirmed, but after co-running the Irrational Store and seeing how much fans enjoy well-made clothing designs and collectibles, I'd sure like to see if there are some avenues for Ready At Dawn to create new merchandise, or for some giveaways / contests.

I have a random question regarding the Editions in US and PAL region. What makes the company to decide to make different content collectors edition for 2 different regions? Is it a survey you guys did that influence the content or it is purely a company decision?

Those decisions were made before my time here, so I really don't have an answer for you. I'll see if I can dig around and see where the differences came from.

They'll probably give you the same crappy response they give to everyone who asks that question

"This is due because of the different Manufacturer/Production companies in each region"

Even though those companies could get told to make the same ones. I just think if you can't get a statue or steelbook in one regions edition at least get something as good to replace it.

I wouldn't mind if Europe/UK had a second, more content filled Collectors edition but why is it we just get the one. Sony did the same with the Last of Us, we didn't get the Post Pandemic Edition we got two limited editions instead which were the same just one was for Joel and the other for Ellie. Even then we didn't get a steelbook with it, same goes for the inFAMOUS Second Son limited edition, the hand print art was fantastic but again no steel, then again US didn't get a steelbook either so it's not as bad.

OneLetter...if by some chance you ever get to speak to someone about this, could you least see if they can change the Europe Collectors edition to add in a Statue...or at least feature a Steelbook instead. I just don't see how you can get away with giving us less, yet we have to pay more.

I mean it's not coming out until Feb next year, that's plenty of time
