I folded and I'm all in on getting this game ASAP. I was just going to get the The Art Of Alien: Isolation book from www.bookworld.com.au (best price on the net if you live in AUS) as the book depository prices are moving inline with the increase with postage in the UK.

Good place to find games at the best price http://comparegames.com.au, just change the search to your preferred country.

If this game is a bum deal in the end I don't think there will every be another Alien game made.

I bought the ripley edition from GAME UK only not to receive the steelbook edition. I did not know the ripley edition itself had a steelbook and non steelbook edition.

Game.uk listing does not show Ripley Edition comes with steelbook. Maybe it was preorder bonus and Game usually do not ship pre order bonus for international orders.

You're probably thinking of the Nostromo edition since I don't see any mention of game.uk offering the steelbook with the Ripley edition.

The steelbook was only in the Ripley edition that EB had here in Australia. You got the game, artbook & steelbook (G1), everything separate, no special box.

The Ripley edition from GAME only had the game & artbook

The special Amazon edition had the game in the steelbook (G2) no amaray case.

You couldn't get everything in one edition in the UK it seems.

This game is very interesting indeed. I was actually expecting Ripley edition to include the spaceship or something but I guess they don't really have the budget to do any big CE.
