The first issue is that if you want the 'best version', the Xbox One has it. That's about it for that. If you want the best or most complete CE, that's what you'd have to buy. Don't have an XB1? Ah well. They don't care. Secondly, it's not any old company. It's a company that stated it wouldn't do platform specific content. Yet here we are. And even if they didn't, it's still not acceptable. Thirdly, each version is $200 (or whatever it is in your region), yet there is no price reduction for the original CEs even though they have less content. Fourthly, we are the customers who are willing to shell out $200 for a game in the first place. Not $60. Not $80. Not $100. But $200. We aren't average gamers, this is what we love. Fifthly, the Xbox One is obviously the weakest platform at the moment and it's quite obvious as to what Microsoft is doing. Why give in to such tactics just because their console is failing? I have CEs that I have never opened (and won't), yet I'd feel exactly the same if it were about any of those. It's not about what's in the box, it's about having the definitive version, and nobody should have to feel the need to get it for a platform they don't support. Again; we are on a collectors forum, I really cannot fathom how this wouldn't be obvious to all. Last edited by Interinactive; 08-16-2014 at 02:15 PM. |
