The North American/NTSC Version of the Explorer Edition Contains a STEELBOOK

The UK/PAL Version of the Explorer Edition Contains a DIGI-PAK

***So to answer you question NO the Special Edition is NOT a steelbook***

I am getting both editions mainly because of the box variant and because money is no object for Uncharted

Thanks for the clarification, much appreciated. Though I'm not 100% certain what a DIGI-PACK is, could you mention some games who has used DIGI-PACKS.

Oh, I have an idea now I think, the Infamous 2 Hero Edition contains the inFAMOUS 2 Special Edition, which is a digipack.

What a shame, a Steelbook is much more cooler IMO.

I actually have both preordered right now, but I doubt my order at game.co.uk will hold, because of the problem with weight as Majorg85k describes.

If I can get EE for around 100£, I'm gonna pick that up and get the Steelbook later yeah, but If I can't get the EE for around 100£, I'm gonna stick with the US CE.
