id say "because nintendo" but we all know why nintendo does what it does. they have been cutting costs ever since the wii u was failing in sales. We even went from a regular 3ds CE with the physical game, manual, case and everything else, to a code stuck in the box, to oh your 3ds has the game installed. this amiibo downgrade is not a shocker.
