time for another update! oh wait, the last update is already 1 1/2 years ago?! damn, time goes on fast, and i was pretty busy in this time, but finally im back with a nice update

so here we have the Lunging Kratos Statue from Gaming Heads, a pretty huge statue with almost 20 inches / 53 cm. He actually looks good, i like the size of the statue, pretty impressive, but unfortunately hes face doesnt looks angry enough for kratos in my opinion, i like the Sideshow face more.
Oh and the pose reminds my on a bird starting to take off when you looking directy from the front on him

yeah there are many kratos statues out there, one from Sideshow, 2 from Gaming Heads, 1 from EFX, 2 garage model kits... unfortunately the Lurging Kratos has the baddest face from them... the Sideshow one has the best i think... oh and the face from the gaming head bust also looks badass

here is some reinforcement for my commander shepard statue

this statue is from gaming heads, looks like sideshow doesnt continue the mass effect line and gaming heads takes the lead, they already released 5 team members!
i like the garrus statue, he looks pretty cool in his armor, especially from the side. i think this one is the coolest mass effect statue right now.

the garrus statue is based on mass effect 3 so a quarter of his face on the right side has been badly damaged. you can see a pic on the bottom, just click the spoiler.

the statue is about 21 inches / 53cm tall and weights 6 kg.

Yea wasn't too happy with the Lunging Kratos' face. I'm looking to get the 26 inches ones from Sony and the Gaming Heads Bust, that bust looks real epic!
Might pick up the Throne and the Lunging Kratos later if I can afford them

Here we have Grommash Hellscream from the game World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.
The statue is made from Happy Worker, a pretty unknow company for the most people other there, at least for statues i think... they already did the Overwatch Tracer Statue or some nice Blizzard Holiday gifts like the Hearthstone or the Diablo 3 Treasure goblin and some more cool stuff. and i have to say if they keep the quality like they did on the Grommash Hellscream statue they will become my favourite statue manufactor!

The details and this statue are just awesome, so much details and all of them are made so good, wow!
i love the base, thats what i call a real base, not a boring stone or something else, Grommash Hellscream is staying on Mannoroth head!
Also the Paintjob is really really good, even the small wounds are painted with blood inside.

this statue is one of the few statues where i cant complain about anything at all... okay the price is high, but for that price you get a real work of art.

the measures of the statue is 18"/45.72cm and its really heavy, about 15kg

oh and btw. i have a new camera, so you can see every little detail now!



Happy Worker - World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor - Grommash Hellscream

and another World of Warcraft statue just arrived, finally a dragon for my collection!

here we have Deathwing from World of Warcraft: Cataclysm made by Sideshow.
man this one is a beast, his wings are so huge, the wingspan is 30" / 76,2cm the Wings have a translucent effect which also looks very nice.
Also the rest of the statue is huge, 25.5" H / 64cm x 24" / 60cm, a real eyecatcher! The Paintjob is good, the dragonscales are painted black and underneath the dragonscales its painted red, so it looks like fiery magma!

The Base is also cool, Deathwing rises up over the towers of Stormwind in a dynamic pose inspired by the game’s cinematic intro, very cool!

Sideshow - World of Warcraft: Cataclysm - Deathwing

Love the WoW characters and love the lore. Those are really nice concepts for statues (I love the one they made full size and the maquette they made before that was amazing). I do have a few issues with the execution of the Happy Worker and Sideshow versions but I do not want the bring down the vibe Still great imposing statues, also the horn on the Hellscream one looks amazing (kind of outshines the rest and highlights the not so well executed spots).
