But the guy in the picture has distinguishable french-canadian features, he has what appears to be a team-Canada hockey jersey, Balsam Lake Effect on TV (Balsam Lake is upstate NY near Canada), and the article on the pool table "Bonkers for Beanies" was first issued in The Star, a Toronto-based newspaper I believe.

Couldn't recognize the bikini-clad lady in the picture on the wall, but she's probably Candian too.

Since StayFree got all that photo from a Canadian Newspaper website, your assumption is probably correct - StayFree is part Canadian ... and he's also SwiftDeath.
