I made this same mistake. I now have the Special PAL edition (w/ lenticular cover) which is GORGEOUS (one of the best I've seen) and the US Hero edition. Pft. life sucks...and I want a shiny infamous 2 hero box. Not fair that US customers once again get shafted up the ass with a "non" shiny box. I mean, c'mon, seriously? What is up with that? Why do that to us?!

The art is so much nicer on the PAL box in general too. The lenticular cover edition is really really neat though. I think I'm more glad they went with that version instead of the steelbook after all, but maybe its just because I have a thing for artwork. Next time they get a better CE for a game I want I will try to just import the CE straight up, though I guess in this case I did not know about the shiny box until people here started posting photos of theirs.

The only thing I can say about our Hero Edition box is that the cardboard its made out of is a lot thicker than this one. Its just amusing sort of because now I have 3 hero edition boxes in my room...
