And even moreso, what kind of GS employee takes it in without realizing the gem he/she has and leaves it sitting there in inventory??

Thank you for the info.

Yeah, the look on the Gamestop employee's face when he realized what he was selling me was pretty telling, but I had no idea it was that rare.

I think I'll probably take your advice and list it on ebay later this week. If it sells for a decent amount I'll let you all know.

If you do end up putting it up, you should post the ebay link here too, there may be a few collectors who are interested (if they haven't already PM'd you about it).

Also, sorry to hear about the break-in. We suffered one recently as well, but thankfully nothing was taken. Sorry to hear your story ended differently, but hopefully between the insurance check and some profit from this thing you'll be net positive after all is said and done!
