I noticed this too but assumed it was the angle. You have to think... that would be an odd thing to say "Look at this variant... it is silver and has a different hand on it.").

We will have to wait for someone to get them both and compare in person to see if there are slight variations in the sculpt, but I am putting money down on them being the exact same sculpt... only difference being the paint.
