I didn't open the steel book so I don't know for sure. If other sites are listing it as a separate buy then I am inclined to agree that the steel book is separate. However, unlike other editions that were this big (DA: Inquisitor's Edition, Wolfenstein CE) this one has the branding for the particular edition on the outside of the box (Xbox One, PS4), leading me to believe that the game is in the steel book. At EB games, there is no notice stating that the game is a separate inclusion to the CE. Perhaps some websites list the game as separate on order as a mistake and those who ordered say from Amazon, will get two copies of the game.

It's not entirely their call on the materiel used. They have certain weight/dimensions they have to meet in order for the gyroscopic motor and servo's to actually function properly. If it was a metal husk on claptrap, they'd have to get heavier duty(and far more expensive) motors as well as servo's.

Think of it like those little remote controlled helicopters. There are cheap ones that are $20 sure, they're all plastic and rather bad. Then there are ones that are in excess of $200, and it's because they have metal frames, metal husks, more powerful motors to handle the weigh, higher power servo's which require more room, etc.

I agree that $400 is an asinine amount of money. And I agree that you should get more for that huge amount of money. All things considered though, I still wish I could get one.

As soon as I saw the difference of handsome collection for £44.99 and claptrap edition for £289.99 (difference of £245/$366 USD), I held back with doubts whether I should in the end go for it =/

In addition to gearbox's record with DN forever and Alien colonial marines. Was it just me that thought BL2 has stupid amounts of DLC?

Anyone want an X1 version of the Claptrap Edition from the US? I was going to keep mine all the way up until an hour ago when I realized I could purchase so many more things I'd really want than this. The steelbook and claptrap are great and I feel the edition is worth the $, but I can just do more with it than this edition I think.

I'll be cancelling my order in a few hours if I can, but just wanted to give the heads up here in case someone else wanted a guaranteed copy.

EDIT: Okay, cancelled mine. If you want it, guess you can hunt Amazon as it'll go back up I'm sure.
