The "cleaver" steelbook isn't exclusive to amazon.de, I got it for free with my normal edition of Bloodborne here in France.

I don't have the steelbook with me now, but I can say that the PS4 and Bloodborne logos are almost transparent, and it doesn't come with any slipcase.

So I caved and after hearing all the amazing things about the game I went and bought it. Paid $68 USD for the US CE. Not a terrible price, and is a game that I was bound to get eventually.

The steelbook in the Hunter edition is the same as the EU CE and Nightmare edition one. There are 3 steelbooks as far as I know. The white/silver one from NA CE, the dark blue one with the same cover art as the NA one from EU CE/nightmare edition and Asian Hunter edition, and the Amazon.de exclusive one.

Where did you get it for 68 bucks? Was it online? If so, can you please share a link? I finally have some funds on my credit card so I was going to get it from Amazon, it was sold out a couple days ago but it seems they still have some left as it shows in stock now. But they are selling it for retail (79.99) so 68 sounds like a damn good deal to me.

You can get it for $64+tax, which is around $68 in some states if you have Gamers Club Unlocked membership at Best Buy.
