Only thing is... You have to shell out for the whole edition...

Then ubi go 'ta dah' and send you a steelbook that looks suspiciously exactly like one you could have got for a tenth of the price in another edition and tell us the very very different images were just for illustration purposes only and we all go 'oh that ubi... Always pulling a fast one over us bless them'

Hi Everyone,

We're very excited about the Drake Ring announcement. We worked closely with Naughty Dog over the last two years to produce a collectible that would represent elements of the rings from all the Uncharted games.

I noticed that some folks mentioned previously released rings, and while those were cool, the ones from the first game were PR pieces that weren't very accurate and the one released with the UC3 Collectors Edition was more of a mass produced piece. For this definitive, officially authorized replica, Naughty Dog went through numerous iterations to make sure they were happy with the size, shape, kerning, materials, and even the presentation box. It was really important that this version be made of solid silver to accurately represent the ring from the games.

And, yes, this is the surprise that ND was teasing a few months back. However, how many of you realized this is the ring featured in the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection teaser trailer that was released last month? Even the display box makes a brief cameo.

I love the box for this one - in what way is it numbered? Is it a plate on the base or inside the lid?

Also, any idea, how many of the PR version were produced at all?

I for one am pleased that the casket clasp, colouring etc run consistently through both
