Did not think of this. Yeah any dishonest sellers who sold them a month and half or more could be bad for the buyer. I know better then to do this myself but some people do not know better.

I had someone buy a Elder Scrolls Online PS4 Edition from me as I did not want it anymore... and he bought it a year ago but just got it a week or so ago. He is lucky he bought form an honest seller as that sale as far as eBay was concerned was far over and gone.

I do a lot on eBay but hate the whole preorder thing... I never sell what I haven't got. Been let down waaaay too many times on preorders that I never want to take the risk of promising what I haven't got - as Flatty will vouch for

yeah forgot about that , some of them can't refund via paypal anymore .

Yeah I was screwed over once and do not sell pre-orders much anymore. The issue is fussy buyer when this happens... as in they blame the wrong person and do not think you lost as well.

While I do not feel bad the scalper have to return money as that is the nature of selling... I do feel bad for those the buyers will take their anger out on.

There is a rule that the item must be shipped within 30 days after the list ends for all pre-sale items, sadly no one enforce this rule and no one follows.

Guarantee that the item will be available for shipping within 30 days from the purchase date. Be sure to clearly state this information in your listing.

Don't think so... The scalpers will keep their money. PayPal may refund the buyers out of goodwill... eBay and PayPal will tighten the screws and the honest sellers / buyers will lose out again...

This is one of the biggest, latest f**k ups in games releases yet...

Not likely. Also know that almost everyone here has done this to further their collection from time to time.

But there s a difference between selling the one you had for yourself and scalpers who load up on 10 of each just to re-sell.

Well he probably meant the recently sold ones. But yeah as Mags is saying the old sales will not be refunded... maybe if you are just out of the window you might be refunded but they are not that great at goodwill.

You're right but eBay pick off random listings to delete and leave others running. Lots of people will be hit by this one...
