Hi Flatout,

It took 6 vendors to create that statue (including a little fabrication from your's truly), and then I assembled it. Made three of them, actually. The effects company that did the head are close friends of mine, and they recently sent this incredibly kind gift to me to display in my office at Sony.




I think the bust idea is a good compromise. A lot of people can't afford to collect full statues of characters and it also gives us a chance to revisit some older characters. The goal is to keep these in the $75-80 range. Some of the busts will be hard to keep that low because a bust like Galahad has so many paint applications with that detailed uniform. It will also depend on whether we have a pre-existing high res digital model to work with, or if I have to pay a sculptor to create it. But, I'm very excited about doing this line. They will be produced in a fairly limited run (possibly only 300-500 units of each).

Maybe a bust with the knights but have it be like a mantle of busts with all the knights in one half oval? That way it is one statue. It would be like a display in the building of The Order (like a "here are our honored knights" type thing).

But yea I totally understand that you would want to leave the order 1886 out for now since we got pvc statues from the CE.

Bust sounds nice to me, and I hope we get all the knights including those intricate details of their armor.

I'd love to do all of them, but I think we'll start with Galahad and see how he sells.

However, stay tuned! I'm working on a bunch of collectible busts, statues and vehicles right now, and some of them are based on some classic PlayStation titles. So, if there was a game that had a good following, but no one made a licensed statue for it back in the day, I just may be tackling it. If you guys have ideas for cool Collectibles, shout them out! Just remember though, right now i'm only making SCEA game based Collectibles.

Twisted Metal baby!! They had some sick-looking characters that no one tackled.

And yes, like flatout mentioned.. I too really appreciate the statues even though some of them are from games I never played. But they make me sit up and admire them even if I don't think I will ever buy those
