A kitchen cabinet maker was the only person I could get to do it. They do all sorts of shelving. I'm in Australia so I'm not sure who you'd turn to in the UK, I imagine it'd be the same sort of tradesman.

This was the room (with crappy IKEA shelves) before I had it redone:
