Thank you vhal_x, Funnnkyyy, and Everlife for your kind words! It warms my heart to see that I made the right decision to join. This will be a most worthwhile experience indeed!

Unfortunately - and I apologize for this - I am unable to share any pictures of my collection at this time. You see, all my items are currently thriving in boxes due to a rather recent move. I ask that you please bear with me in this transition as I settle into my new home. I don't have a time frame to give, just my word that when the moment comes I will update this thread with pictures.

Until then, I don't know where to start! Can I see your collections and comment on them? What forum should I visit next? There is so much to see and do!

No problem at all, have just gone through the whole house-moving process myself a couple of months ago! Absolute nightmare

Yeah, my collection thread is somewhere in here, "The Re-introduction of Vee", and browse everything on the site, I'm sure you'll find sections/threads that you'll really enjoy x

As negative as it sounds, "absolute nightmare" is a perfect summary for all the stress a move entails. From finding a new home, to clearing out the old, there are few life-changing events out there as relocating.

Still, with bad there also comes good. Never in a million years did I think I would part with pieces from my collection, which had just been growing and growing throughout the years. It was painful to let go, and I admit there are regrets. Nonetheless, selling, and even in some cases giving away, was quite liberating. It gave me a new perspective on my hobby with regard to what to purchase and what to not purchase. I still have a number of items I want to get rid of, and I'm sure I will eventually.

No matter the problem, one must always put a positive spin on it. Down-sizing brings about pros and cons, but for me, I get to prioritize on the subjects that truly define me.

I'll get to browsing around right now. Top on the list is finding your collection thread, so wish me luck!

Thank you again for being so kind!

I'll be looking for your collection thread right after I find the one belonging to vhal_x. Who knows what's next from there. I'm still so ecstatic over everything, and am grateful for such generosity shown to me thus far!

It's a pleasure mate, I am only relatively new to this site myself and have had nothing but great things to say about this site and its members. They have all shown me their help and generosity and in turn I'm happy to be of service

I'll continue to say it repeatedly: thank you for extending such friendship! In the end, all we have is each other, so the support is welcomed with open arms. I too am happy to help others in any way I can!
