OK.. dumb question.... Actually I shouldn't have done this.. I am almost done with Witcher 3.. problem is..

I play my Witcher 3 (Region 2 / European disc) in my US PSN account... so if I buy this GameStop PS4 expansion, do you think it will work?? =/

I tried to download those free DLCs last night from US PSN store, but they dont seem to work with my Witcher 3 Region 2 game.

Any idea how to work around this? Do I need to buy a Witcher 3 R1 game?

I have experience with this.

Your DLC needs to be the same region as the game.

Your profile doesn't matter because you can work around it, for example Onechanbara, I got the R1 Banana Split version. I then need to get DLC from only region 1 as R2 won't work with my R1 disc BUT, I can download the DLC on my US account and I can access it fine with my normal R2 account without needing my US account signed in.

So no, I don't think it'd work.

You must greate EU account to download DLC's - game and DLC regions must match.
With PS3 you can use/play all stuff what is in your HDD with all accounts in that console - I havn't try that with PS4...
So, make EU account and download those free DLC's from EU PSN store - after that try play those with your main/USA account
