This is the first time Amazon has really let me down... it seems they were overloaded with all the merch going out that they screwed up some of the orders on shipping time.

Oh on a side note, that other one that was not sent ot me when out Saturday night even and was delivered early on Monday... yet mine could not ship until today.

But remember at the end of the day you at least were to get one, I am sure it will show up tomorrow, or the next day. Maybe if you call Amazon and be really cool about it, they may give you a promotional credit of some sort for the delay.

I heard from a friend that the Target he went out, people were lined up starting at 4am. That store had 12 bottles, and they gave the first 12 people in line a numbered ticket so they could each buy one. Another person I heard from said their Target thought it was only for those customers who pre-ordered the game so they were not selling any to the general public. Others store had a limit of 1 or 2 bottles, some stores didn't.

I guess... but I would have bought one anyways (even if I did not get a pre-order). I personally think it is less significant this time around, unlike most CEs that sell out fast this took days and I got mine within 10 mins after it was posted because I stayed up all night watching the E3 event and Amazon/Twitter after the event (So I do kinda feel I earned the pre-order that I got for myself), I even posted about it here when I saw the post about it going live.

Also luckily for everyone else who did not noticed the pre-order for the first 4 days they were available the prices on eBay this past month have not been terrible (not like Destiny or CoD BLO3).


But in any case I just was disappointed as I wanted to unbox it and maybe start it... but the biggest thing was i pay for PRIME mostly for this very reason, to get guaranteed release day delivery on video games. Also it is one of the first times they have let me down and it was only on the one coming to me (the other one was delivered Monday... so why did mine not even ship until Tuesday when it was supposed to be delivered).

Yes they did give me a free extra month of PRIME and offered a future discount of some kind. I would have rather gotten my item today though.

I think this CE edition is quite nice, and I believe it will hold its value if not go up there will be people who want one later on, Fallout fans are die hards and there will be people who open one to play with but then will want one new in the package. Obsession knows no bounds when it comes to this stuff for some people. Dont put too much faith in inventory numbers on the soda, its not real time updated I believe.

No sure what that has to do with my order being shipped late or me getting one from eBay if I did not get a pre-order

Lol... I would not drive that far for a bottle, but if I were to I would call first (like the did the store that is an hour away where my step mom works near).

They as the fulfillment center and something about packing issues (very vague).

I order within 10 minutes of the Amazon listing going live back on June 14th just a bit after the E3 event. Then the rest did not sell out for a few days (impressive considering the amount of Fallout fans and collectors).
