May I ask you how are you going to deal with the exchange? I'm in a similar situation: I got a preorder for a PC Prestige on Amazon.co.uk, but later I found a copy in my country and I don't need the Uk preorder anymore. One solution would be to sell it at cost, but how exactly? How is it possible to make the transaction safe (and as cheaper as possible) for both parties?

I suppose a simple alternative would be to decide a precise time to cancel my preorder and tell anyone interested.

_________

On a totally different note: at about 12 hours from now the last preorder session on Gamestop.it should open. Same conditions as last time apply, but pick-up is no longer available.

I'll make a post when preorders begin.

It's not that difficult, just get your buyer to pay you directly via Paypal (so you can then pay Amazon), add their address to your Amazon account & then have the game sent directly to your buyer.

I've done this a few times & it's the easiest way.

Sure, it's not that difficult -it's not like it did not come to mind-.
But it's not very safe for the buyer that way: I would receive the money AND potentially the item from Amazon. There is no way for the buyer to be sure the items is being paid or shipped to his of her address. It would not be the same as selling on eBay, because the stucture of eBay itself is not there at all. Also, we're not talking about 70$ but more than 400.
If I were the buyer I'd like to do it more safely. Hence the question.

Edit: and I don't even have a feedback score on the forum.

Yes, there is an element of trust involved & having no feedback will make it difficult.

Just do not use the friends and family option via PayPal. That way, if there are complications, you have the security of disputing the transaction via PayPal.

This ^

If you have any doubts, just do a normal Paypal sales transaction and cover the fees. Shouldn't matter to the person buying the item as they are getting the full payment due. As said above, using the standard transaction for goods gives you recourse if you get shat on by a shady seller.

On a side note, I watched the trailer for Dark Souls 3 and though some people seemed meh about it, I was pretty impressed. I think they are really going to nail this one and love how dark and twisted this looks.

I find it easier to cut out the middle man for the funds by getting the buyer to send you a gift voucher from Amazon. Apply that gift voucher funds to the order and also change the address to the buyer's address.

This will avoid fees from PayPal and maybe even loss in currency exchange. Just be wary of taxes that may apply to the country/state being to delivered to (in reference to USA).

I've done it once and worked out well.

Yeah, but that is a great way to get screwed over. At least with PayPal you have some insurance against being scammed.

Screwed over in which way may I ask?
I think the seller would be able to screw over the buyer much better/easier. I'd only to this for people I know or from elite members from here
